About
The “Yerton Dreamhouse” is a place where I keep all my thoughts, dreams and aspirations. It came about from where I purchased the old post office in West Kilbride (1999), which had been previously called the “Yerton Pottery”. At first, the Yerton Dreamhouse, was a physical location. But then, I acquired the website www.yerton.com and the Dreamhouse moved very quickly into the world of t’internet. I decided to keep the name because it means “over the hill” in middle English, and I think that pretty much sums me up.
Here I am
My wife Catherine is a successful author and speaker and she has a main website at www.Gatekeepers.org.uk.
I sold the building in 2002, and in 2004 was called back to serve as an accountant. I am now Group Company Secretary for a large textiles manufacturing concern in Scotland. I was elected to Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in December 2009.
I am also an elder of the local Church of Scotland in West Kilbride and serve as their Treasurer and Presbytery elder. I am Vice Convenor of Finance of Ardrossan Presbytery.
Of course I am fast approaching 47 now, but before I am 50 (maybe 55) the dream will be to run the bulls in Pamplona.
